Help with Delinquent US Tax Returns

Hi all,

I am an American ex-pat living in Australia looking to reconcile my delinquent US tax returns. I qualify to do so without penalty using the Streamlined Filing Procedures. I’ve read through the instructions and can see quite a bit of work ahead of me (including 6-7 lengthy forms). Does anyone have experience with this type of tax filing and/or can recommend an affordable 3rd party tax consultant/firm that can file on my behalf? I’d consider paying a professional considering minor mistakes will void my submission. Thanks in advance.

    H & R Block have US Tax Specialists. (Not based in suburban offices)

    There's apparently free US tax filing services. Not sure if that will help.

    Hello, in case anyone stumbles upon this thread in future, I went with H&R Block. Cost a pretty penny to clear the ledger, however I ended up getting more back in US tax return (thanks to having kids), so a win-win.
