Im looking to signup with alinta, but i'd like to know what their energy usage reporting is like on the my account section.
Anyone on Alinta with a smart meter, could you tell me how often it is updated, and what frequency can it be viewed? like previous days usage and in 1 hour blocks etc.

They tend to over charge
Old thread but relevant as I was looking for same info in late 2022.
Turns out Alinta in the year 2023 still has no monitor app, AND has no web based online data viewer either !
They say they can send me data by request only.
While I knew they didn't have an app before I signed up, it was only after I had an account I realized they had nothing at all…
You can't get any data from them except totals over the billing period.
Pretty sure regardless of retailer, you can check your smart meter info with your distributor.
that's what i do, mine even has an app i have running on my phone and its hourly updates
