Or should I say Many The WTFS
      (shit that doesn't include Sunday)

      • +2

        Many The WTFS, suckers!

  • I'm avoiding this for the same reason I'm avoiding Domino's.

    • +1

      and the reason being?

      which is because?

Sorry, I won’t be supporting Nandos either.

        • +1

          Your loss.

    • You do realise that that just puts the franchisee in more trouble rather than the franchisor right? Nando's are Fwits and I feel bad for all those franchise owners that have lost a lot. But hey the food is great :/

  • Nice marketing gimmicks :)

  • +3

Might actually pop into Nando's for the first time in 7 years. $11 isn't too bad for what they're offering up.

    • +3

How on earth can you resist that "smell" for that long?!!

      • +3

I've just always found them overrated, rather my tastebuds have lol. We have a charcoal chicken close by that serves ridiculously good Portuguese chicken as well as many other things.

Maybe this will change my mind.

    • Been a decade for me, might tempt me to go in-store. My local charcoal chicken is ace and last time I ate Nando's their chickens were anorexic. I get where you're coming from

    • $11 at Woolies buys a whole chicken

$11 for a quarter chicken, what so the whole chickens cost$44!!!! No Deal, false advertising

      • +1

I mean… You're forgetting the cost of spices, seasoning, utility costs, access to a commercial kitchen, overhead of employee for cooking your meal and cleaning up your table, as well as the sides and the chicken ribs.

This isn't even accounting for you not having to cook and clean up yourself (self value).

I'd not endeavour to make this exact meal for $11 total cost.

        • The Woollies one is cooked too.

  • Our nearest store was culled last year, so looks like a trip to kotara.

Additional $2.50 for a small drink

    • +1

      $2.50 - wow

just head to maccas for a frozen coke zero

    • +1

They gave members free small drink last time :(

  • yay my favourite Nandos deal!

  • Do you earn points on these meals or nah?

    • +1

      Yes, 11 points I believe

  • +1

Just had it :) amazing :) thanks guys

    • +2

Referring to nandos? Or something else?

  • +1

Just tried the ribs for the first time and they are amazing!

    • I've never had ribs of any animal. what do they taste like? wings?

      • +1

Yeah it tasted like wings just easier to eat.

  • +1

Never understood Nandos. Fast food quality at restaurant prices.

    • No real competitor - unique offerings.

      • Opporto ?

        • +1

Not very common here in Vic

        • Even more of a rip off than Nando's.

  • +1

ok I used to own a Nando franchise a while back. Ask me anything and I'll tried to answer.

    • +1

      How were the profits?
Did Nandos try and screw you over like other companies would (Coffee club & pizza)?
      Why did you get out?

      • +2

I was doing 30-40,000 weekly sales so it was fine, other Nandos were not so lucky. I was a full hand on owner, was hard worked but I Liked it. Its true the royalty fee does take a chuck of your cash away. I sold the shop back to Nando just before the new ownership of Nando Aus took over by an African. When i was there the old ownership was nice, new not so much. I got out "personal reason", nothing to do with Nando Aus.

  • An average quality, small portion meal for $11. Meh, pass

  • I've never been to Nando's. They must have some special chickens to offer chicken ribs. No on else's chickens have ribs.
