rgb cable? do you mean rca cable? is it a monitor or a tv?
the laptop you linked has a vga port on the side, which is an old port for old monitors

maybe vga-rca adaptor is what you need

    • Its that blue color plug kind of with two screws on each side. Both side same blue pins.

that sounds like a vga cable
        the laptop already has vga

so you just need a vga-vga cable
or vga-dvi since you say the monitor has dvi as well

basically just figure out what the options are on each end, and get a cable that will connect from anything on one side to anything the other. most monitor plugs work together, you just need a cable that fits both.

        • Sorry if its sound dumb. My laptop n monitor r at two different places atm. If my laptop has vga and my monitor. Shouldnt end to end vga cable be fine? I dont see two screws slots which u r telling me that my laptop has vga as vga has two screws

            Yes

            vga has two screws

You can remove them from the cable on the laptop end/or just don't screw them in

@John Kimble: That is fantastic. Looks like i already have that end to end vga which already coonects on my monitor end and then i dont need to worry abt those screws and will go directly to my laptop. Legend mate great help :) Thanks

@zhk89: the laptop picture doesnt have screws, but its still vga.
the screws aren't needed, they are only to secure the cable, which isn't so good in a laptop anyway

It depends on your monitor. Here's two cords for two types of connectors.

vga (which is what your laptop has) to hdmi: https://www.ebay.com.au/i/123280604078?chn=ps&norover=1&mkev…

    vga to dvi-i: https://www.amazon.com.au/AmazonBasics-DV-I-VGA-Cable-6-Foot…

Do some research on prices to find the best ones. Good luck.

    • I ve got dvi option as well in monitor but no cable. With your first option vga to hdmi. I dont have hdmi in monitor.

To be 100% sure you need to provide either photos of both laptop and monitor or model numbers of both.

You could probably get a VGA cable for free from a FB group. I can see one available in a group I'm in.

I recently donated some to my work…

    • Hey thanks. Is vga cable that one which has same ends. Blue color with many pins in it and two kinda screws
