  • So if I own it on Xbox what good is a copy on Steam?

    • If you have Xbox account linked to your Dying Light docket account then you would get an Xbox key and so on.

      • +1

I only have it on Xbox. I only linked Xbox. Got a steam code.

        • +1

Same here but for PS4….steam isn't even linked, got a steam code.

Above link explains it better, its a steam code only.

You can own it on any platform, link accounts and then you can obtain the steam version code for free.

@Pred8r: Bloody stupid. While I have steam, I'm not much of a PC gamer preferring the couch and a controller.

    • Same won't give me an xbox code. Just a steam one (using an xbox linked account to get the code).

  • +1

Woohooo…. can confirm its still working…. guessing they did a reboot.. activated account, then linked steam ….logged in and got code.

I was about to give up too, worth trying again guys if you had no luck earlier

  • How long did it take for the banner to show up?

    • Launch the game, leave it open in the main menu for a couple minutes, go back to website and reload.

      • Thanks, was editing my post as you responded. Didn't need to open the game.

Might have been a coincidence, however the banner offering a code showed up straight after also linking my xbox account (not even sure I have the game on xbox). I linked my steam account in the first instance.

couple of seconds. Orange strip just above the login frame.

  • STILL ACTIVE AS OF 4 FEB

Since there were no comments after 28 Jan I thought I was out of luck, but gave it a try.

I created a docket account, linked my Steam account, and the banner offering the code appeared.
