For $2500 with professional Delivery & Install.

    • Is there water or ice on that one?

      • Nope. We chose the non water/ice version. It was $100 more for that one.

    • So it costs more without ice and water and is smaller? What's the advantage of this one over the deal one? Also how does professional delivery differ from regular delivery?

The delivery drivers wear tuxedos and bowties, instead of thongs and stained singlets.

The internal fittings are much better in quality. The water dispenser takes up a lot of space inside and we have no use for it. The bottom siding door is not something we liked as the internal main draw felt like we had to stack things up to utilise the space. Whereas the more expensive one has individual compartment draws to seperate different items. Lastly one of the bottom freezer can be used as a fridge as well (there are controls on the left bottom door).

JB have two different deliveries. Basic ($55) provides just the delivery. Professional ($75) they unpack it and move the old fridge and put the new one in its place. They will even take your old one away if you wish.

    • Where’d/when did you get it for $2500?

Have this fridge and love it

  • Good fridge but the water isnt very cold at all.

    • In most of these fridges (plumbed in) the water isn't meant to be chilled. There is no reservoir, just a pipe. Use the ice to chill the water.

  • We've had ours for 3 years, it's a great fridge, I have a few pros and cons below, but just note the cons are all nit-picks and I'd gladly buy the same unit again if it dies (it would need to last close to 10 years though).

    Pros:
    Fridge section is massive.
Cold water and ice on hand at all times is great.
The height puts it our of reach of the little one.
You can turn off the the ice function and save freezer space in winter.

    Cons:
The freezer 'tub' doesn't feel like an efficient use of space.
The inverter is a bit loud for a small open plan space, not insane but you will hear it.
The plastic edges for the glass shelves are fragile, we had one break when I was taking them out for a clean.
The water filters are overpriced and a replaced every 6 months by timer. I use aftermarket ones but the flow on the genuine ones is better.
It takes a while to make ice.

  • I have the one in black and i love it. I paid $1800 for brand new damaged box delivered. I can't believe it

    Cons
    Bit loud
Water filter need changing every 6 month and are expensive
    Slow ice making

  • cons - stainless steel one - fingerprints are very obvious

  • Fisher & Paykel just a terrible brand. Had 3 different products with them (dish washer, washing machine and fridge) and they all failed within the first 3 years. Never again!
