Decent and cheap LCD with VGA connectivity?

hey guys, i came across this for $88, but i hear it sucks as a monitor: http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Mon…

what do you guys suggest? doesn't have to be dirt cheap like that one, i just want something that's good bang for buck. it needs to have VGA connectivity because i use a laptop.

thanks

What size are you after? If bigger than 20 inches you can try this
    Asus 22" VE225T $109.00

if after 24 inches try this:
    Acer V24 $135

They both have DVI and VGA (D-SUB) ports, and have the same 1080p resolution. However, they lack HDMI.

Yes that 88 dollar one is quite inferior. I just came back from OW, and it looked dull, colors were dark, washed out. =S

  • ok thanks scrim. those look good. i just can't afford more than $140 or so.

scott, how does the emachine compare to the asus and acer that scrim linked?

  • ok thanks.

    what does 'full HD?' mean?

    • It means that you will be able to use the monitor in the highest resolution there is currently on the market. Which is in numerals: 1920 x 1080 pixels =horizontal pixels * vertical pixels.

  • anything else out there?

  • ttt

    • anyone? i can now spend more on it. i don't mind spending <$200. i just want something that's good value.
