Lebara 180 Day Plan Sale 70G/$95/20 Countries | 100G/$105/30 Countries | 150G/$140/45 Countries

120

Seems like a new round of sale from Lebara (Vodafone). I'm a bit excited because I haven't seen many Telco deals applicable to existing customers. They have done half price before, so if you are not in a rush…

Edit: thought I'd share my experience porting from Circles.Life to Lebara. The online activation didn't work, I had to call them up to do it manually. The first rep freaked out about the letters in the account number and didn't let me do it. I then went to WP to see what others did. Called them again and insisted using the customer ID 'LW*********', porting completed in a few minutes. This might be of help to other Circles users.

Depends where you live or work. Where I live Telstra is bad and this one plus optus got great coverage.

In melbourne inner suburbs I always have 4g coverage with Lebara/Vodafone.
Also check your phones' bandwidth support

Works fine for me in inner west Sydney.

    • Same, no complaints here in the inner west

the audio quality is very poor. speaking from experience.

  • And no support for call waiting - if you are on a call, and another comes in, you get no notification

    • I had the same issue with Catch or Kogan, once I turned off voicemail, while I'm on a call, a third party would just not get through. But they can do the call catcher thing if they wanted.

      You need to dial *43#

  • Thanks op - good timing. My mum's plan is about to expire

  • They have changed a few rules you can only stack long term plans not monthly. And if you recharge before your plan runs out you loose the days that you had left ( this might be with monthly recharges but check before you add a long term from a monthly.).

  • Is it 180 days that you need to be away from Telstra before you're considered a new port-in customer? ,(So i can get those jb deals).

    • I think Amaysim/Catch/Kogan normally requires only about 30 days. Not sure about Telstra.

  • According to this page.

    https://www.lebara.com.au/mobile-plan/small-180-day-sim/

Lebara Mobile’s Long Term Plans are programmed to be stacked. Meaning, you can recharge with a long term plan and it would stack to your existing 30 day or long term plan. The Long term plan would start only once your current plan expires. You can stack Lebara plans up to 24 months.

SO I guess this implies we can recharge anytime with affecting existing plan. I am not from Lebara, it would be good someone to confirm from Lebara if they are on this forum.

    • They used to be like this, I stacked a few times ~20 months ago.
I wish Boost and others could learn from Lebara. I'm looking for a small Lebara long term plan for cheap. Got too much in data bank which doesn't need more data banked in.
