      Any non-Telstra (retail) SIM. Aldi Mobile is the easiest, as it'll be 5 bucks and immediately able to activate with credit included.

          As long as you port to a different carrier it should be near instant.

          A while back I went Optus -> Vodafone -> Amaysim and I was on Vodafone for less than 5 minutes.

  • Is anyone else having trouble with Boost's app? Each time I try to use it, the app states that WiFi is connected when it's not. This renders the app totally useless. I contacted Boost whose suggestion was to uninstall and reinstall the app, which didn't fix the problem at all.

    • It’s working as it should for me. Have you tried restarting your phone & all that type of stuff?

    We Notice there's a few guys posted a few post about how to get cheaper price sim cards from our store by price match etc. These are not necessary true and are case by case (time by time), we generally do not offer discount price to the public, only to the selected customer group.

        • Yeah, ive ended up going with Telstra $300 150GB officeworks price match for $208. My problem is Jeenee (who have been excellent) have sold out to Vaya (i already know how that will turn out) so ive got to activate and port to any other carrier before the end of the month or im in a whole heap of Barney Rubble. Probably sell the boost kit if it ever turns up.

  • Anyone know if you can get a code from this so you can recharge instantly in the app?

    I just paid the full $300 this time as I was desperate but for next time or others in the same boat I'm wondering if they can give you a code to recharge pretty much instantly instead of using a new sim abs everything and I think if you are upgrading from the 80gb $150 12 month prepaid plan to the 240gb $300 12 month prepaid plan you have to port out first is that correct which makes the upgrade even more annoying.

    Can anyone answer any of these questions but I am mainly interested in if you can get a code for $240 to redeem in the app at all because I can't remember if my $150 package came with one for the option to upgrade online instantly.

    • Yes you have to port out, then port back in to keep your number. I believe it's the only way.
