you could try somewhere like Panasales, but they may not have the exact model you're after.
the cheapest price I know of for a new Samsung 52" LA52A610P1F Series 6 HD LCD TV is $3600 from DealsDirect.com.au
given that warranty isn't a big priority for you (and usually not worth the paper they're printed on), if you were prepared to buy from overseas, you could get a similar model brand new for ~$1700 from the USA (look at www.nextag.com), you just need to factor in o/s shipping (and possibly a 230-110V transformer). like most things, electronics are roughly half the price in the states, and the big price items are well worth the added shipping costs. not only that, but they are typically 6-12 months ahead of us in product releases — eg. most Samsung TV's here are Series 6, while in the USA they now have series 8 and 9 is out next month!

This isn't a Samsung, but its still a good price at under $2900. It's a Sharp Aquos 52" full HD LCD TV for $2391.00 (refurbished).
Deals always change at this website, so what is there one day may not be there the next, but all the online discount shops are like that anyway.
