Saw this deal at JB today. I know there's been some negativity towards Seagate but an SSD at this price ….
Slightly cheaper than Officeworks at $103.

Holding off till the series X then I'll get one.
Don't hold since the ssd and memory price will be 40% high at the end of the year. https://www.gamersnexus.net/news-pc/3548-hw-news-ram-ssd-pri…
The only negativity towards Seagate is from idiots holding onto past biases that haven't been relevant in more than half a decade.
Keep telling yourself that. SSD is fine, but still no way I’d touch a mechanical drive from them.
I will keep telling myself that. I'll also let many datasets tell me that. I'll also let the 6x 4TB Seagate drives with >16 years of power-on time and zero bad sectors between them tell me that.
I wonder if it is possible for us to open up the enclosure and use it as an internal SSD.
cheaper to buy an internal SSD
I know, but I just wonder if it is possible.
They’re finally hitting 10 year ago HDD prices. Can’t wait for sub $100 2TB ssd’s in 10 years time.
too bad you gotta wait 10 years.
Oh it's SSD! I was wondering why $99 was a baragin for 500gb. Nice fine OP
Price beat at OW to get it for about $95.
Ooh that's tempting for the Xbox.
