75% off; normally $9.95. Picked up some jars a few weeks ago when it was 50% off at Market Street's Foodhall. Expiry dates can be found on top of the jar and are good until after mid-2021 depending on your jar

Source: Used to work in said Foodhall

can you tell me what is the ingredients?

      • +3

No, because I'm not that bothered to tell you the ingredients at 5:45 a.m. when I'm getting ready for work. I'm sure you can find the ingredients if you did some Googling yourself …

Pretty much the fruit, sugar, water and lemon juice.

  • Cheers OP - grabbed a couple

  • How does it taste?

    • +8

      Like Hank

      • +3

So it doesn’t taste like jam? False advertising!

        • Hank's the jam

    • +1

There are a few reviews here

  • +5

Hank's Jam sounds like a really shitty mixtape from the 90s.

    • Dammit Bobby

  • Thanks for this post OP… grabbed 4.

  • thanks OP grabbed two.

    • There are some available in WA. I have ordered 4 varieties from Hay St but the other varieties I want will have to be ordered from other stores which have them available.

      • Oh okay. Which ones did u order from hay st pls

        • Pear and vanilla, orange and lime marmalade, triple berry, rich orange marmalade.

          • @povertytrap: Did you get the email to. Pick-up? I order some at hay St as well and even the ones didn't show as stock on their website, went through the order.but just order confirmation so far

            • @MDSUXKS: No news about pick up yet.

              • @povertytrap: Mine either. Sounds like fully refund haha

                • @MDSUXKS: Mine ready for pick up now. Took about a day.

                  • @povertytrap: My one just one of the jams weren't available even though I new I order anyway so I gor 3 out 4.

    Thanks, bought 10.
Bought a few of Fig Almond & Ginger plus pear and vanilla.
I rarely eat jam. Reviews & flavours swayed me.

    • +1

Me too. I wasn't going to post it but after reading reviews I bought some and posted this deal.

      • Glad you did! Your review link convinced me.
Store just down the road has pick up.
Won't likely be used on toast for me, but should help make delicious deserts & treats.

    • You do have sweet teeth, do you.

      • That's what my Dr says.
Likely to be for visitors & gifts.
And as I commented above… help make delicious deserts & treats

    • Negs? These are tiny pots of Jam!
There were plenty showing at local store in Qld!
And not as much interest in this Deal then, almost all from other States.
Bought for use in cooking & as gifts.

Will see how many are supplied. No news yet. DJs stock system is often inaccurate & refunds common. Refunds have started in Melbourne.

  • +2

pear and vanilla is yummy can confirm.

    • Great - had just bought a few, along with Fig Almond & Ginger. Sounds yummy!

  • +4

Thanks OP. Also lots of other 75% off products under "pantry" - all sorts of goodies.

  • -7

you know that dunkin doughnut jam? No one will ever beat that jam, not even hanky

    • I'd love a tempura jam.

    • -2

i bet you those who neg me wouldn't have slightest clue about dunkin doughnut jam.

  • Bought a few. Thanks OP.

  • +2

    mother's day sorted

  • Is this organic or anything that is different in comparison to other lot on shelves. I mean is it just fancy packing hence the $10 price tag ?

    • I am suspicious too.
Website doesn't list ingredients, so at this point I am just assuming it's a fancy packaged Homebrand jam.

      • It says made with “time and love” I guessing replacement for viagra!! Lol

    • Production costs are high because they can only employee people named Hank.

  • Seems no stock in Melbourne, cannot be fulfilled

  • +1

Good to see Hank expand his horizons beyond propane and propane accessories.

  • +1

    FIGJAM?

  • +2

If ur in Sydney (South), Wollongong Central is the closest showing stock…

  • +1

It's available in store. I just bought 2 raspberry and one orange from Hay St mall.

  • Thanks OP! Picked up a few jars from Capitol Grand which I didn't even know existed.. bonus!

  • Thanks OP! They sound great, shame no Orange and Lime in SA but grabbed 6 of the other flavours, yum!

  • Ordered from Capital Grand, then order immediately cancelled by David Jones. Either out of stock or they don't want to honour this deal anymore.

  • +1

Just got refunded … ordered Melbourne CBD ,,, looks like they dont have stock

  • orders still sitting at in progress,
    Cannington, WA

  • Collected my order today.
Heaps of stock left at Malvern Central.
Raspberry and triple berry sold out.

Also bought T2 Christmas Breakfast tea for $7.48. 75% off.

  • SBS Viceland program Hustle last night featured a start-up jam maker.

They were making beer cocktails, a little tasty jam in a glass, topped with craft beer.

One of the many uses of Jam!
Also good as a glaze / sauce in cooking.

  • Looks like none left in Sydney…

  • one of the jars I collected was a short dated june 2020, older style label.

  • Thanks onhunt! Great Deal👍
Picked up order today in Brisbane.

    Great tasting jam!
The Pear & Vanilla has a subtle flavour with soft chunks of pear.
The Fig, Almond & Ginger is packed solid with Fig, with a slight nutty taste - so good! Hoped for more of ginger.
It will take a while to get through the other flavours.

Found stock still on the shelf of local store @$2.48. So bought an Orange & Lime marmalade. Surprised how good it is. Will use it to cook in bread & butter pudding.

  • -1

Visited 2 Brisbane stores in last week - both had some stock (4 & 10 bottles) of marmalades. (Bought 1)

    • -1

So stock is still in some stores.
10 jars left yesterday at Garden City store (undergoing renovation).

    • Stock still for sale today @Garden City:
      7 Orange & Lime
      1 Orange

      • Checked today - last Orange & Lime on shelf. Still $2.48. Was told others are out the back for online orders.

Picked up tasty David Jones Crunchy Almond Butter with Honey 370g for $1 (near best by date). (84% roast almonds, 15% Australian Honey, sea salt). It's so solid, needs a good stir.
Also had $1 David Jones peanut butter with chillies. Staff member told me she'd bought a few jars to make satays.
Both normally $9.95. Were selling fast.
