Not really a deal as it is always going to be here but starting tomorrow Mcdonalds will have McVeggie Burgers, Deluxe Shakes and Frozen Coke NoSugar starting.
McVeggie burgers are not vegetarian/vegan, they contain egg and are cooked in the same vats as chicken!
To my knowledge, this is victoria only right now but could be other states soon but not sure

Is the frozen coke no sugar $1 too?
Not a deal but thanks for letting us know.
It's good news and evidence of the strong trend away from meat. I'm looking forward to them offering a vegan burger. I personally don't care which grill they use, but to each their own.Negging this, because it's not a deal. Just a new item at a regular price.
what's a deluxe shake?
what's a deluxe shake?
A shake with a pillow, obviously…
Negging this as it's not a deal, and has 8 reports so far. Not sure why it's still in the bargains section.
As the OP said himself, this isn’t a deal. It’s nothing more than an advertisement for a new product at standard price. Shouldn’t be posted.
Or a whopper & rebel whopper for 8.95?
Hmmm. This isn't a deal. It's more of an advertisement for a new product.
What is this thing made of?
It may contain eggs.
1 for Sockpuppeting
Haha idiot. He's already declared as an employee/associated!
My bad for thinking this was an auto delete !
Alive approaching 20 hrs lol
NY resolution for the site is Ozclutter ?
Fill your site with shit like this at RRP not useful info like a 10% off Ebay deal on millions of items ( insufficient info = joke ) .
Real dumb move guys !
I always find it funny - as soon as a deal post gets a bit of traction in the comments, the mods are so slow at deleting it. 100+ comments and counting… reported 10 times and negged heaps…. but yet the mods don’t touch it. And they claim advertising views don’t have anything to do with it. Hmmmmm…
I tried finding a veggie burger in Sydney that is cheaper than $6.10. No luck so far.
Doesn’t make it a deal. K-Mart is cheaper than David Jones. Think I could post something at K-Mart at its standard price as a deal then?
Ok.
Think I could post something at K-Mart at its standard price as a deal then?
Sure:
Mirabella Genio Wi-Fi E27 Colour Bulb $29 @ Kmart
Mirabella Genio Smart Wi-Fi Globe $15 @ Kmart
Baby Solutions 480 Baby Wipes $7.50 @ Kmart
Kmart Hand and Face Antibacterial Wipes (15pk) for $0.75 - In Store Only at Kmart
50 Pack Small Colour Pencils $2 in-Store ($0.04 Each) @ Kmart
Kmart LED 3 Candle Set for $10
30 Pack Colour Markers $3 @ KmartThe only thing stopping you, is a preconceived idea that something must be artificially reduced to be posted, which encourages the 'price jacking' behaviour that we see.
Veggie Burger $6.10 (Was $8) = Deal
Veggie Burger $6.10 = No dealAs always the community will decide if it's a good deal or not via the voting system. In general, a deal can be good value or of interest without being a special offer or discount. On the other hand a deal could be a special offer or discounted and be a poor deal. A deal should be judged on its own worth, not artificial factors. In any case it's up to members to determine what is a good deal, if it's a bad deal/bad value then users will vote/comment accordingly. It's possible to do so and move on.
Moderators act based on guidelines, not comments, neg votes or conspiracy theories about 'advertising'.
@hamza23: Never said they had to be “ artificially reduced “, my whole view is that this should be a site for genuine bargains. I have issues with deals where prices have been artificially reduced too, just as the community does. We hate price jacking.
I suppose now I know I can post an advertisement for a new product and ‘let the community decide’! OzAdvertising it is!
So I guess people are now welcome to post ads for all the McDonalds products as a long running "deal" e.g. Big Mac anyone. Plus it's cheaper than your corner store…
Advertising for new product. Full price. No bargain here.
This lash back is why I posted it as a forum thread.
My comment got removed because it wasn't detailed enough. Alright, here goes.
This is not a deal as the item is at 100% of its RRP. Thus there is no saving to the customer. There is no bargain to be had.
This is simply an advertisement for a McDonald's product.
