but the Red Island has a more 'robust' flavour/smell.
Sometimes, this is good.

red island is just a name, but they source their oil from all over australia (mostly the eastern states)

Found out the other day that Cobram and Red Island are owned by the same parent company. Who knew? I prefer Cobram Dark Green though, tastes better.
Owned by boundary bend. Which owns about a third or something of the Olive trees in Vic. Cobram is their premium stuff basically and gets their good batches of oil. Red and their other brands get the rest.
Any cheap places to get Cobram or Red Island 3L online?
Sardines are awesome mashed with a big glug of this stuff, a little salt, pepper, hot sauce and APV. Don't knock it till ya try it.

Yes besides dessert as olive oil has a strong taste.
Good value here.Cobram Estate is the best but this isn't far behind.
