Hi Everyone,
Part of the bridal party for a wedding and we are thinking of organising transport. Ideally 2x 7 Seater SUVs with drivers. Don't need anything fancy, just to get from A to B
2 cars because one for the bride and bridesmaid + helpers and the other for the groomsmen + helpers
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: If you guys have ballpark day rates for like a 7 Seater with driver that would be great! (Sydney based)

You should consider two private/rental cars. One for Bride and Parents/Maid of Honor and Groom and Parents/Best Man and one twelve seater for the bridal party.
Do you have any suggestions for private rental cars that is not "Wedding" specific, they tend to have a massive markup…
Parents can transport themselves lol, they are old and don't want to go to all the shooting locations.

We've arranged a fancy 12 person old school Caddy limo for 1st part of the day — but will be transported to the accommodation via a pre-booked luxury Uber.

We rented a Kia carnival for several days as my wife's family came over for our wedding.
I drove the family in the 8 seater and my dad drove my wife et al in another vehicle.
Worked quite well.
I was a guest at a wedding years ago where the transport for the wedding party were 3x white Merc Hertz hire cars. The groom even revealed that the drivers were wedding guests that were only invited because they were needed as drivers!
you pay per hour or per trip, so if you have a few destinations it adds up
how many destinations are you going to?
is everyone going to be on the piss so no one can drive?
reason is because as people have already eluded to, hiring the "driver" is the large part of the expense
if it definitely needs to include driver
probably better off considering a larger vehicle, so only paying for 1 driver rather than 2 (depends how many people do you have)
most of those airport shuttle type services do gigs on the side but pretty much all require you to ring or quote online to get a price
just don't mention wedding to not get wedding rates, though i think shuttles services are probably one thing that don't charge wedding premium

You'd want Tarago or similar people movers, not 7 seater SUVs
