LG has the best value as it has one of the best Smart OS IMO. With this TV you get an air mouse so navigating and finding thing is quick and simple. This TV also has AI, so searching for movies is easy and it also has Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa so you can control your smart devices. There are frequent tv updates and there are heaps of apps such as Netflix, Stan, Disney +, Prime and Youtube TV. Not sure about this model but with all the LG TV's in my home I can do chrome cast and airplay without needed an Apple TV or chrome cast.
How does the picture quality look in the LG compared to the Hisense r7 and the Samsung RU7100
Try and get an Andriod TV.
Also looking for a 55" TV with Android TV.
Leaning towards Sony at this stage.
I had a refurbished Sony Bravia 55" with Android OS for 3 years. I found it laggy with a long remote control delay from the time you push the button until it activates. Recently it developed a horizontal line on the screen below which everything is out of focus. Paid $1399 for it from SonyAustralia on Ebay. Better off buying a dumb 4k tv and adding an android tv box for $100!
Wait for Aldi special buys. The Braun TVs are pretty good value.
OTTOMH I think they currently have the 65" 4k for around $680.
