Stanford Engineering professors are offering three of the University's most popular computer science courses online for free.
The three courses, Machine Learning, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, and Introduction to Databases start October 10, 2011 and go through December.
Registration is expected to start in September.
While online classes offer enormous learning opportunities and other benefits, college credits or a college degree aren't included. :)

Also, MIT puts up their course materials online which you can download free of charge. They've been doing this for many years now.
