If you use your bottle cap on Caterpie, Butterfree or Cutiefly it will be a bug fix

I preordered this game, I'm like halfway through the championship and just.. got bored. Haven't played it in weeks. I'll eventually revisit it but my golly it just hasn't grabbed me

The main game is underwhelming, max raid battles were fun for maybe 30 minutes. I did finish the story, but spent more time just wandering the wild area.

Maybe we are just getting too old.

      • The games are changing though, they are becoming more of a handholding theme park rather than a world you explore on your own.

They also have removed any form of challenge from the games the last few versions. In an interview a few years ago asking why the newer pokemon games were being dumbed down they said it was because people these days like playing games on their phones and dont want to put in the time to get good at a game when there are so many other games to play.

The problem is when you remove any kind of challenging gameplay and have a garbage story that holds your hand for the entire game making sure you cant fail, whats left?

I’d have killed for a handheld Pokémon theme park when I was 10. I do wish it were a challenging rpg though.

@AustriaBargain: I agree with you. The game is far too easy. What a shame.

    A free virtual bottle cap.

Is this seriously what OzB has come to?!

    • -4

      Agreed. This is no deal.

What does this bottle cap usually cost?

    • +2

It costs nothing. Hence this the usual price., no bargain.

    • +3

it costs 25 battle points (in game battle tower currency) to buy one. you also get one at various milestone marks from the battle tower

  • +2

Why all the negs? I am on the fence about the game but still will use this so thanks to the OP

    • Coz this isn't a deal. No $ saved.

I tried Up-Up-Down-Down-Left-Right-Left-Right-B-A but it said voucher invalid.

There needs to be separate ozbargin for gamers.

    • -3

Not really, just no more of this rubbish. I mean it’s essentially a cheat code.
