    Dang i want this

  • I got both $25/$100 and $50/$200, but the links in the email don't work and the offers are not showing when I log in.

    Edit: Link working now.

  • Fingers crossed, was going to use my Amex Travel Credit the other day, and this will help!

    • Edit - never mind. My mistake

Cheers, I just checked and I was only going to be spending $130 LOL.
Maybe I'll choose a nicer hotel now :D

      • May be a "better" room to save the trouble fo doing the search all over again?! ;P

        • Rooms were all the same level, no "better" room at the place I was looking at :P

    • damn i got excited as i thought i could get flights on it but if i am reading that right, flights dont count?

If I use this link, and have the $100/$25 offer saved, I wonder if I'll get $75 back for spending $200 …

    • Thank you for the link forumninja ✔️

Doesn't appear to have a button for submitting the form but print/save that only downloads the terms and conditions?

      The T&C states:
      B. Eligible Cards
Not all cards are eligible for this offer. If your card is ineligible, you will receive an error message and you will not be able to register for the offer

    • im having trouble, there is no submit buttom on the page

    • There is no button to save info. I can fill in the fields but there is no next/save button. Any ideas? I've tried both firefox and chrome.

    • Link is broken @forumninja (no enroll button)

      • It's not broken. It's maxed out.

        • Gahhh..dang it :( cheers

      Is this a scam site?

It asks for your credit card number and personal details to validate the offer, i have never had to do this before with AMEX offers.
Some of the embedded links do not work.

Also, the site certificate when I log into my proper AMEX account as well as AMEX travel says the certificate was issued to AMEX corp, whereas this site does not - just says valid certificate.

      • No, it's not a scam site. If you don't give them your credit card number, how are they supposed to know which account to apply the credit to? It's always the case with manual links that you have to give your card number in order to save the offer.

    • Is there link for $100 get $25 back?

      if so stackable with both?

  • I got both 25/100 (essentials) and 50/200 (altitude black). My offers show when I login.

  • Mines $200 for $50 on Westpac altitude black

Practically what could this discount be used on?

    Getting a $25 discount on a $1000+ package holiday doesn't seem that great…am I missing something?

    • +1

It's $100 minimum spend to receive $25 credit, not $1000.

      • Yeah I get that, but it's pretty rare to get anything through a travel service for a few hundred dollars.

Anything more than that and I would question whether the $25 discount becomes worthwhile.

You can book a hotel for one night for well under $1000!

    • Can be use for flights also.

      • +1

Does it cover flights also? It seems to specifically state hotels, car hire or things to do

  • +3

This would be good for those who have the Qantas Amex with $450 of credit for QF flights, then stacked with this offer as well!

    • +3

Does not appear to include flights according to T&C

Save offer to your Card and spend $100 or more, in one or more transactions, on hotels, car hire or "things to do", online only at travel.americanexpress.com.au

        or "things to do"

It seems flying is no longer a thing!

  • Cheers

Bit annoying that it doesn't work for flights, but still a good offering.

  • Bugger I booked a non cancellable hotel room 5 weeks ago. Should have waited for this deal

  • Not available on mine. Great deal though !!

  • To thing that my "explorer" card should be included, bummer. Not targeted :(

  • -1

    maxed out.

  • I received email about $25 back for primary cards only.

  • Nothing on the Qantas Amex

  • that'll teach me for not enrolling straight away…

  • I got two emails, one for this offer and another one for the AMEX Altitude Black where the offer is to spend $200 and get $50 credit. Not sure if targeted, check your card accounts.

    The two stack.

I got the $25 and $50 credit backs.

    Now what to experience. Hmmmmmm

  • +2

Just confirming this works for flights.

Just paid for flights to Bali, used my travel credit and then 30min later got the confirmation that the Amex offer (Spend $200, save $50) also tracked.

    • +1

Did you still spend $100 or more on top of your travel credit for the offer to track?

      • Hmm was wondering the same too but think you’ll definitely need to spend $100 on top of credit to trigger as spend.

  • Going to Singapore, the Amex site for hotels doesn't give good deals even with discounts though. In the end might be better off just booking directly with hotel lol
