Not the cheapest it's been in the past but a decent price for a 65" Samsung QLED TV.

how much is "not that much" better than the RU8000? I'm trying to decide if I should drop some more coin for this. Is Quantum Dot on this model worth it?
I am not 100% the details but most people said it is just brighter than RU8000 basically the same panel.
Agreed. If given the choice between the RU8000 and the Q60, I'd go with the cheaper one. I think the Q series is only worth it when you go with the full array backlight models (Q75 and upward).
I actually bought a Hisense R8 recently but on arrival the backlight doesn't work properly and would switch off randomly, I've called Hisense and they said there's no stock and I'll have to wait 3 weeks for replacement. Deciding if I want to wait the 3 weeks, or get a refund and buy a R8000? any opinions? the hi sense has local dimming and DTS
Depends on how much you paid for the R8 and the size you're looking for. On paper the R8 is better but in person it's hard to say. If 3 weeks isn't an issue, probably just wait. If you're getting refunded $1500ish, you could probably do better.
@gaz090: I'm can get a refund for the r8 for about 1500ish and I can get the R8000 for around the same price, or the Q60 for 1400 which is weird why it's cheaper, but I'll be trading local dimming and DTS for a Samsung panel. Anything better than the Q60/R8000 for 1500ish? the hi sense was 65"
