I have been fighting FlyBuys for 4 months over a 10X points offer from First Choice
We activated the offer and the standard points were added but the bonus 9 points per dollar were never added.
after months of backwards and forwards they claim the activation was never done, even though i specifically remember activating the offer and in fact i was with a friend at the time and he remembers me activating it and seeing it on my computer when i did. (it was my wedding day, which is why i remember so vividly, in fact we chose the retailer we did due to the points offer)
Today, flybuys have told me that the only way to get the points is to provide a screen shot of the offer being activated.
i cant even check my expired offers in the App/website as they delete them after 2 or so weeks once expired.
So if you have an offer that you activate that is quite big (mine equates to around 8000 points all up)
screen shot it so there is no dispute if they do not give you the points.
their call centre is useless, but that is a rant for another day.
Oh: i got the points in the end, took a supervisor and refusal to hang up until i got the points for it to happen
A bit like coles fuel discounts. Fine print says participating stations. So we went thru all the rig moral confirmed the station was in but at the end they changed their mind.
Never again entered one of their fuel stations. Flybuys call centre? We know we have issues, try for more luck next time.
