Obviously kids and teens don't exist in the canningvale world!

Nothing for single or king single beds on offer.

  • Looks like a good deal and am planning to get me a couple.

Anyone used/using these sheets that could offer some feedback?

    Thanks heaps.

  • How is their quality? Look very expensive by their RRP.

    Double Sheet Set 137 x 193 cm $229.95 RRP
    Queen Sheet Set 152 x 203 $239.95
    King Sheet Sheet 180 x 203 $259.95
Free delivery for orders over $100. $14 delivery for orders under $100

    • their RRP's are way over inflated. THey always have some sort of sale going on so i wouldn't really trust their RRP's.

    • I use the Mille sheets and think the quality is fantastic. IMO they are the best sheets I have ever used. The sheets are cotton not polyester/cotton like a lot of cheaper brands which describe their sheets as 'cotton rich'.

Thanks melhappy88 for posting the deal.

      • Thanks for the feedback :o)

  • Got 1200 thread count queen bed sheets from costco fot 74 $s so these are on expensive side imo.

    • Google 'thread count' and you'll find that it's only one of the few features to look for in a quality sheet. There's actually a good write up on this in eBay. Unless you buy from a reputable manufacturer, the tread count can be subject to different interpretation. Personally I would also look for those made with Egyptian cotton. It appears that Canningvale provides certification on this.

Unfortunately the 500gsm quilt is only available in Queen. Who buys Queen quilt anyway? It's always advisable to get a quilt that is one size bigger than the mattress, ie. King quilt for Queen bed.

        Thread count is pretty meaningless

"Egyptian cotton" does not mean cotton grown in egypt

        From the choice article

“Egyptian” cotton comes from a species of cotton known as Gossypium barbadense. It is not always found in Egypt. Less than 5% of the world’s cotton is from the plant, which can be found in Egypt, Australia, China, India, USA, Sudan, and Israel.

        From wikipedia

The name Egyptian cotton is broadly associated with quality products, however only a small percentage of Egyptian cotton production is actually of superior quality. Most products bearing the name are not made with the finest cottons from Egypt

Just because they say "certified Egyptian cotton" does not mean they are using the best cotton Egypt has.

And just because they are made in Egypt dopes not mean they are made with Egyptian grown cotton. As long as they use Gossypium barbadense cotton they can probably call them "Egyptian cotton" sheets.
