Wiki Page for Disaster Relief

There's been a proliferation recently of offers of relief to those affected by the recent bushfires around the country. I thought it would be a good idea to try bringing them all together in a single place where anyone can browse them. I asked the Mods if they'd be able to collate them into a special section like they do for regular events (e.g. Boxing Day, Click-Frenzy, etc), but they came back to me suggesting it might be better to create a Wiki page instead. I thought this was a great idea, so I've gone ahead and created one.

It occurred to me that this isn't the first disaster we've had in this country, nor will it be the last. So, I called the page 'Disaster Relief' and it's my hope that all OzBargainers can use it to bring deals and forum posts together whenever something major occurs. I've started by putting the deals up that I know of already, if you find anything you think should be there then please feel free to add it. I've tried to keep the structure simple:

• Create a new section whenever there's another event using Heading 3 for the title.
• Create an unordered list (or bullet list) underneath the title.
• List each deal or forum post on a line by itself, with a link leading back to it.

If you're not sure how to edit pages in the Wiki then you're welcome to message me and I'll be happy to put it up for you.

I hope we can turn this into a really useful resource. It's important to remember that OzBargain isn't visited by the members alone, anyone can access the web site and see what's here. This means that our humble efforts may end up making a big difference in someone else's life at a time when they really need help.
