  • How many in stock?

  • How does this compare with products of the same price in Bunnings?

    • +1

as far as I can tell, this is more modern looking + you can change light colour (warm to cold white) however, the LEd is not dimmable (weird!)

    • +1

I was thinking the same thing… saw a 'grange' selling for $140 at bunnings which looked ok. But this looks better and I want the moisture proof design so i just bought 2.

    • This is much better. It uses DC power and comes with a remote. It would cost more to get that combo at Bunnings.
The air that it pushes around the room has been far better than fans I got from Beacon Lighting.

  • Looks good

  • how much does it usually cost for installation by an electrician?

    • I presume a sparky needs to do this? Is it complex? Or there is a law in place?

      • 240v requires electrician per reviews

      • If you have power in the location already you could easily do it yourself and it would be completely illegal… in Australia and I have done it several times because I know how to connect two wires together. In NZ you could so this yourself and it would be completely legal. Has to do with some legislation introduced by Nick Griener way back in the day to appease the ETU who wanted to strike over some mega construction project and then standardised across Australia … and here we are.

  • What can I do if I didn’t input the code??

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Buy it for $ 189.99 if you don't enter the code.

  • Just purchased the black coloured one for $139. Personally looks better and more modern. Promo code didn't work but still got my shopback reward. So approx $122 per fan after SB.

    • The black one did not participate in this discount.

  • Has anyone installed this fan? Is it really powerful as claimed? Our current fans has very weak airflow so looking for new powerful fans with LED light.. any review of this fan will be appreciated..

    • +1

I had one installed last week. Apart from the instructions being a little difficult to understand (chinglish), it all went together nicely and works great. Led light is bright enough for our needs. 6 speed control is a nice touch. This fan replaced an older fan and the increase in air movement was certainly noticeable.

      • Thanks for your review.. I already ordered 2 and receiving soon..

        • Have you installed them yet? What do you think?

          • @Pythagoras: Just read your post.. yes, I got both installed in kids bedrooms. these DC fans are very good, very quiet compared to AC fan and much powerful than my old fans which were crap.. light is bright enough for the bedroom but may not be enough for living area for our liking (we like bright cool white), fans are installed in bedroom so no issues.. light has 3 colour temp which is nice.. overall I'm happy with these fans..

            • @Trek: Great review. Was installation easy and did it take the electrician long for each fan?

              • @Pythagoras: Our electrician took total 1.5 - 2 hrs for installing 2 fans.. he didn't look into manual at all so I'll say it was easy for him.. he was kind of stuck on 1st fan but then I quickly looked into manual and helped him while he figuring it out himself.
