Anyone else have trouble with the coupon? Mine said it was applied but I was charged the sale price minus the coupon on the invoice and via my bank.

    • sorry to hear. you could try getting a refund: https://www.epicgames.com/site/en-US/store-refund-policy

      • Yeah that's what I ended up doing, cheers.

are you sure you are not confusing USD price with AUD price you were charged? USD price is as stated 19.24, AUD price will be similar to the US price before the discount aka around AUD29, but this is USD19.24, I hope that makes sense? lol

Yeah I'm sure. Superliminal was 15.99 USD on sale,so with the coupon it was $5.99,I was charged $22 AUD.

I tried the game anyway and said if it was good I wouldn't dispute it, but ended up not enjoying it and just opted for a refund.

You had what happened to me with Subnautica. It says it's using the coupon when you pay. But the transaction requires validation, after validating the coupon is listed as redeemed, but since you haven't paid yet it tries to run you through the payment again (except now the coupon is invalid).

My coupon even says 'redeemed for Subnautica', yet the game still asks me to purchase it.

          • @TogTogTogTog: That's so bloody annoying, Subnautica is a steal with that coupon

            • @InsertCrow: Yeah, I've emailed support to see what they say. Hopefully I can get another coupon, though the faffing around has left a bad taste in my mouth.

              • @TogTogTogTog: looks like you get as many coupons as you like, not just 1.

@beeze: Nah you get 1, then everytime you buy a game more than whatever the min value is ($10?), they give you another coupon, effectively rolling it over. I could get another $10 coupon if I bought Subnautica at $20, but I'd prefer to spend $10 with the old coupon AND get a new one instead.

@TogTogTogTog: $14.99 USD is the minimum spend to get another coupon. I used mine to get World War Z for $4.99 USD and keep looking at Metro Exodus, but I've literally spent a couple of hundred on GOG games this holiday, so don't need to spend any more.

            • @InsertCrow: Subnautica was given away for free on EGS so they may repeat it. Not really a steal having to pay for it. Worth it though, good game.

              • @Agret: Yeah I know it was, but for those who missed it, it is a steal haha

              • @Agret: EGS?

it's still on game pass for those who have it

  • Do you get another $10 USD coupon after buying Metro Exodus Gold?
Assume Standard Ed won't give you the next $10 coupon?

    • Anything you buy that's eligible for the coupon will give you another one. It's basically unlimited use during the holiday sale.

  • A few friends and I went for World War Z, only US$4.99 using the coupon - a mindless frag fest for next LAN night.

Still have the coupon in my account after that so I guess that part worked.

Now to find something else …

    • I got a bunch of Ubisoft games

Ghost Recon Breakpoint + season pass (cheaper than buying gold edition)
      Assassin's Creed Origins Gold Edition
      The Division 2 Gold Edition
      The Crew 2 Gold Edition
