Piggybacking your post to mention that if it doesn't have Freesync out of the box, you can get a firmware update that enables it (and reduces the input lag substantially):

EDIT: You can also force this to downscale 4k @ 60Hz via a custom resolution.
I just bought this monitor today from Centre Com. The one I got had freesync support straight out of the box. I guess it was manufactured after the update came out so it was pre-installed.
Does NOT support freesync.
Does with a firmware update, which also reduces input lag significantly.

This is not a consumer grade product, guessing that's why.
This is from Samsung's business monitor lineup,

Incorrect. It released without freesync support, but it was added after launch in a firmware update and the monitor I bought today from Centre Com had the freesync update pre-installed.
Yeah that's why i said free sync as review and mine had it.
Is there any deal on 27" IPS?
Resolution… refresh rate?
QHD 1440p or above, refresh rate 60hz or above. I just need it for home PC for general use.

Wireless1 on eBay had it for something like $320 for ages, but it seems to have sold out for now. 4k 60Hz IPS.

Viewsonic vg2719-2k can be had for around $290 with wireless1 ebay sales. Don't know much about the monitor except that it's an IPS 1440p 27" 60hz monitor
Just grabbed one. Colours are excellent, on par with IPS front on but inferior when viewed from an angle. Haven’t calibrated it but first impression is it is easily accurate enough to use professionally. Came with freesync support straight out of the box. Gaming experience is amazing, incredible for the price. Input lag is on par with my 144hz TN gsync gaming monitor. One potential issue stems from the stand design - it only pivots, so you either have it high above the table and far away from you, or low and close. You can’t have it low and far.
Got the LC27JG50QQEXXY for $370 which is also 1440p, 144Hz but curved and has no freesync support. Had to return the first one cause a dead pixels popped up after a few days but I've been happy with it since.
Would consider getting this one as well if only they used VESA mounting points on the back…
