Group Buy Platform or Site

Hi, This is NIck and am new to Australia. Back in the US i have used group buy site drop.com. Do we have anything like that in Australia? I can't seem to find one. If nothing exists do you think it would be a good idea to build one?

There have been a few come and go over the years, but none of them last much more than 12-24 months.
Don't think Australia has sufficient population to support a site long term.

Most hobby specific forums have group buys. I.e.: Autos have them for wheels, tyres and parts. Same with Computer forums etc.
