And you're still looking for a car with "power". Smart boy (NOT!)
Wow, 6 minutes between that and this post.
Are you in Victoria? Fines Victoria's new IT system it a total mess, been in the news a few times now. You'll get it eventually, some people have said they've just received fines from 2017!
I live in the ACT but i heard they've recently have been doing things differently
Did you receive a red notice from the cop who pulled you over?
he told me, i will get a letter in the mail
You're lucky if the officer had lost the book that they filled out.
I had something similar - the cops post the infringement out now, apparently to reduce confrontations. It took just over 2.5 weeks to be sent out, which only left me 1.5 weeks to pay it.
As someone mentioned above, the IT system in Victoria has a massive backlog.
I know a guy who was working in the fines department processing all the speeding fines.
It might take a month or more for your ticket to arrive. You would think they could hire more staff or implement better systems given the amount of money they must rake in
Unless the OP was booked for speeding in Victoria, his post history seems to indicate that he resides in ACT
correct
Have you checked your record online? Being 4 months you may be safe…
how do you do that?
A while ago, I got a ticket. It was for an incident in April. Finally got the ticket in September. I think that coppers just keep the info in their book for a slow work day and to make up their quota for the day. Flip open their book and just pull out a ticket and write it up.
Patience.
