That’s an extreme, use the AC. But cut the AC use when it’s not 47 outside. Use it smarter, lower your expectations of having 22 degrees indoors 24/7/365.
Cutting power use is a lot cheaper than installing solar.
As a family of 5 with a pool I’m surprised how much other people seem to use. Our bill is around $400 for 3 months and I think hat is high.
