Marquee Sling Chair $25, Set of 7 with Table $198 @ Bunnings

180

I reported this deal earlier because the link was dead and I couldn't find the chairs when I searched manually. Manually browsing to the Outdoor Furniture category on the Bunnings website I found they are listed again but with a slightly different name. Other colors are available however only the black color is this price. edit 30/12/19 - now showing as $39 for the black acapulco.

edit just noticed this"sling" style chair is also available for $25. More comfortable looking and cheaper then anything I can see at Bunnings, Harvey Norman, Amart Furniture or Ikea at the moment. Potentially less visible steel to rust then the acapulco style chairs? Although that doesn't say anything of the durability of the textile material of the seat part itself.

If you are especially keen there is a set of 7 sling chairs and a large table for $198. Assuming the same price as the single chairs, that's $23 for the table which also seems like good value if you need that many chairs.

  • It somehow looks very inviting.

  • Acapulco chairs didn’t look too sturdy when I looked at them @ Bunnings a few days ago.

The hole is for your farts to pass through.

  • I saw this for $19 in store the other day and when I went to another one a few days later, it had gone up in price. Thanks for posting this! We saw the one at Amart and it was falling apart.

Edit: Just saw it is only black that is $19 (the other week, all colours $19)… maybe that's why I couldn't find it at that price at the other store…

  • Pretty sure those long running KFC bargains have made this unsuitable for me

  • Just a heads up it was touch and go trying to fit these in the car. Even with them squeezed in the front I’d have to strain to lift them to move the gear stick. In retrospect I realise I should have tried one chair at a time instead of stacked but it’s too late now.

The chairs seem good quality. Look and feel to me similar to other ones I have seen in the wild. More durable then others I’ve seen with plastic arms that can crack. Shouldn’ tbe a problem with steel
