Bankwest Mastercard - What Are The Repayment Methods/Timeframe/App Support Like?

Cut a long story short, have a 28 Degrees, but getting increasingly annoyed with the crappy support on it. Like charging fees for 'push' payments, locking the payment method for 5+ days after payment, often having to call up to get it unlocked, queuing a transfer and then having it not go through for unknown reasons, transactions not showing up/being processed for weeks after the transaction has occurred, app continuously requiring re-login; and perhaps the worst, holds (accom/hire car deposits) showing up as a full transaction that later gets refunded.

Thinking about the BankWest Zero Mastercard to replace it. Can anyone give feedback on the following.

  • Methods for payment (fees charged, locking payment methods etc)
  • Web and App support
  • Timeliness of transactions
  • Hold/deposit charging

What is it like on the BankWest side of the fence?

    I have both cards. Bankwest works like other normal cards and the app has pin login so it's easier. No fees for paying the card by bpay etc.

  • I had the Bankwest and I’ve had maybe six other cards over the years. It’s a good card, no complaints from me
