Just looking at some options for a new phone because my current phones battery lasts about 2 hours, any Xiaomi or similar brand phone would be enough.

Yep, as implied by the above posts look for a Samsung that is not 'top of the range' but has all the features you require. There's heaps of great/surplus Samsung phones out there that are still 'new' (i.e., in box/unopened/never used)/being sold by dealers with excess stock. For two-fiddy you will get a very nice UNLOCKED phone from one of them :)
Do make sure that you buy one that is UNLOCKED when it arrives. Pissing around getting that done yourself can be time-consuming/a hassle (or worse; a bit costly).

True however the 1st generation pixel was infamous for its 2 minute battery life, also I bought the 1st phone, then the battery had an issue so this is the second one I’ve had and the battery life is the same, I have only had this phone for 6 months
