I've had a great mechanic for the last 4 years that was as genuine as you can get, always did honest work - my mum was the one who found him and he's been looking after her for about 10 years. Super chill bloke and didn't treat anyone like an idiot. He is now semi retired and I know I'll have to find another mechanic soon as much as I hate the thought.
What are some ways to find genuine mechanics that do the work for the love and not the $$? I always liked that my mechanic didn't give me a list of 20 things wrong, and when I've had problems in the past he would let me know whether something is urgent or could be left for a little while. I would love to know anyone's recommendations (South Australia)
Why you go to them, are they HONEST, and are they independent?
My mechanic was independent not a shonky franchisee.
Ask your mechanic for recommendations. I saw this in a movie once where a rich couple will always take recommendations seriously of anyone they trust.
