Domino's has modified their pizza site… no more bargain pizza modifications. I am distressed.. no more swapping oregano for don's smoked bacon, and no more swapping garlic for extra cheese… All these extra's now come at great cost. Pizza's are still cheap, but they are ever shrinking and with barely any toppings…. so I guess the local pizza stores might be worth a look at again now.
I did do a designer pizza today though, and managed to have seasoned chicken without a surcharge.
However, this is what the pizza was
Chicken - 5 pieces of chicken
Don smoked ham ( I chose this twice as 2 toppings) and there wer only 6 pieces of ham on the whole pizza
Pineapple - dodn;t bother counting this cos it blended into the cheese, and I am not totally anal and crazy!
But this sounds like a bare pizza hey? I guess I got used to the free mod con pizza's. Boo hoo!
Re: the toppings.
I just realised that Domino's is selling their "Double Up to the Edge" topping for $3.30. I guess they can't really sell you that if they have already give you enough toppings in the first place…
Sooner or later we'll just get those $3.95 pick up coupons for "pizza base".
