Best Value Curved Monitor This Boxing Day?

Hi everyone,

I'm going to buy a curved desktop monitor during the boxing day sales. Can someone please guide me on the best places to look at for the best price? I'm looking for maybe a 32", definitely needs to be curved. I do enjoy gaming from time to time. I'm currently using my 17" laptop monitor which is for a ASUS ROG machine.

I've seen https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/acer-gaming-free-sync-315-curve… which has flicker-free technology, bluelight technology, etc. Is this a good monitor for a good price?

Thanks!

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2019

overpriced, local computer shops like PCCG / UMART sells it for $299.

If you are purchasing any monitor with a screen > 27" do not make the mistake of getting FHD as the dot pitch is too wide and visible for a screen of that size. At 32" you will start seeing the pixels when you are sitting at a working distance from the monitor. I have the same Acer monitor (White) for a backup computer that would get used for less than a couple of hours a week but in your case my advise is to get at least a QHD monitor or even better UHD.

Perhaps this one would be a better buy : https://www.scorptec.com.au/product/Monitors/25plus-inch/756…

  • https://www.centrecom.com.au/viewsonic-vx2458-24-curved-fhd-… 199$ free shipping, 24" curved, 144hz.. im contemplating buying it at the moment for the price

  • I can thoroughly recommend any 34" ultrawide. Most are curved, 3440x1440, freesync, and the expensive ones have more features like HDR and the like.

I picked up the Kogan ultrawide for $499 down from $650 in the last sale - no faults or dead pixels (14 day returns anyway if there was). Cannot recommend enough, if it's in your budget.
