If you had to pick one which is better value for money and worth subscribing too? what is you experience?
Prime is $59 annually or $7 a month
Ebay Plus is $50 annually

They get more included than us though.
Especially on Prime. I use smartdns to access US Prime catalogue, my main reason for buying Prime.
Are you able to get those items to shipped to Aus?
eBay plus is worth it at the ~$1 it has been in the past. Definitely can't justify it at full price.
Amazon prime on the other hand has been an easy re-subscribe at full price for me.
i'd subscribe but tempted by the free trials
We just got a deal with Amazon prime with our Amex card. Some great shows on Amazon prime and free shipping makes buying cheap stuff worthwhile.
Amazon Prime hands down. You can find almost all thing in Amazon anyway, and prices are better there. The only reason you'd get eBay plus is if you are Eneloops addict as ebay always have good deal for them.
From A to Zed
Prime- even if just for streaming video. Loved ‘Good Omens’ and ‘The Marvellous Mrs Maisel’. Able to jump on all the Lightening Deals without being bothered by shipping costs. IMHO Ebay doesn’t even BEGIN to compare.
Both excellent choices in shows.
Watch man in the high castle
Also an excellent choice.
And the expanse
Amazon. Not even a close comparison
Amazon.
Am curious but does Amazon have a student 6-month trial & discounted student membership? They do in the US but can't find anything about it here
Amazon Prime any day over eBay + and my Prime subscription has paid off multiple times already.
If you really want eBay + wait for a heavily discounted promo or a free give away of their annual subscription.
Prime is better value, but I’ve shopped more on eBay than I have on Amazon.
I re-signed up for ebay plus for $49 when they offered a $50 gift card. Held out for a long time before that.
Prime for sure - I have used it a tonne. Free games and donation sub on twitch, prime video has had some really good stuff on it and have got a bunch of good deals with free shipping on Amazon. Worth the full price, just renewed.
On the other hand I got a $5 one year membership to eBay plus and have really struggled to use it. Maybe got a tiny extra discount once.. I regret getting it at $5 and definitely won't be renewing.
Prime, you get more and it has paid for it self many times over.
I don't know… I look for things on Amazon only to find they are only for the US market and do not ship to my address. Products found are usually inflated.
I would go for eBay, and save in the area of postage.
While I have a subscription to both, I prefer eBay Plus
I only purchased a Prime subscription to watch The Grand Tour, as I feel eBay gives a far superior shipping experience to Amazon. The vast majority of my online purchased are at eBay. I've made 70 purchases on eBay this year and only 2 at Amazon. I'm considering not renewing my Prime subscription, due to the terrible performance of the Android Prime Video app.
For the things I purchase, eBay is often significantly cheaper.
In my opinion, searching on Amazon is a terrible experience. For example, you need to actually select a department before you can choose a price range to search for.

Wait..what?
You've either had incredibly bad luck with Amazon shipping , or not actually ordered from Amazon
All my Amazon orders turn up way faster than anything off eBay. Amazon's known for its shipping efficiency.
I meant to write "shopping" not shipping.
I can't say too much about Amazon shipping, as I use Amazon so rarely.
I have both - if you buy from Amazon AU or US themselves, Amazon's shipping and tracking is pretty damn excellent - it's the marketplace (eBay like sellers) on Amazon that are all over the place for shipping (no tracking, weird obscure tracking in Chinese, etc)
So if on eBay you stick to eBay Plus sellers (to avoid those say they're in Australia but really aren't, I know that isn't foolproof but it helps), on Amazon try to stick to the "Fulfilled by Amazon" sellers and you'll get at least an on par experience to eBay Plus.
Edit: Amazon is a lot different UI wise for searching for stuff, I still find eBay easier & often things are cheaper on eBay too though it can be the other way around. Once you get the hang of it Amazon is usable, the search is a little quirky though that's for sure.
I have both.
eBay plus does pays for itself in free post if you use it really heavily like I do, and I've used the free paid returns feature more than once per year too.
However for better overall value, Prime kicks the crap out of it - you get that same free post but with free streaming TV and music thrown in too.
Basically, Prime is worth it at the normal $59/yr price, eBay Plus you kinda want to get a discounted promo subscription to make it worthwhile, unless you really use it heavily.
There's still quite a few things that are cheaper through eBay so I'll probably renew eBay plus once more, but I'm keeping an eye on when Prime can totally replace it for my particular situation.
I have both. eBay Plus I got for $1 during recent deals.
eBay plus is awesome where you can get many discounts and free returns etc.
Prime is definately worth it. I got it since November (last month) and they've given me over $100 in credits due to late shipments, damaged orders, listing errors etc. Their customer service is top notch.
Check out the price for amazon prime in the USA now. (About $120 usd) It is a gift for $59 annually here in Australia.
