Yes, you can bodge up one of these systems yourself possibly for less using computer fans and a simple electronics doo dah bought online, but this is all done and has a nice control.

  Why would you want to use it on a computer? They have their own fan controllers. Or you can get fan controllers meant for computers. However, I don't see why not. It's just a couple of fans, a temp probe and a controller.

    I'm pretty sure the connectors are the same. The question is why not just get computer fans instead of this? Cheaper and potentially has RGB!
