Hi all,
Today my son tripped with his phone in his hand. Long story short being the screen on his iPhone 7 is pretty shattered (unfortunately the nuglas screen protector didn't save it as it must have fell right on the corner edge).
A call to Apple today was a quote of about $220 which I thought was a bit much. I have been reading some mixed reviews of third party repairs but hoping people can recommend a repairer in Melbourne.
Any specific things I should look for or ask? Hoping to get it repaired as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance
Ask how long their warranty is for parts and labour.
I haven't used them but EB Games offers a 'Reboot' service where one fixed price will cover all the known faults you mention to them. For the iPhone 7 they will repair everything for $139 with a 3 month warranty:

No idea how long they'll take to repair a phone, they will likely send it off to some national/HQ location so it could take a few weeks. If you want a quicker turnaround and likely done cheaper (without the brand recognition and maybe a warranty) try your local mobile phone store - the ones in the middle of your local shopping centre who sell phone covers and cases.
