    That's some spin😉
Handheld Personal Air Conditioner = it's a fan!

    5hr to charge 500mAh battery!

Is it 1hr or 2hr use??
"charging for 5 hours, it can keep working for 1 hour per charge" but…
"Cold air lasts two hours before a recharge is needed"

    Handheld Personal Air Conditioner fan.

  • ummmm. … fan? lol.

    Not a fan…I mean, a fan…

ive been looking for one of these but… is it just a fan?

  • a fan then.

    spam

    • Indeed, it's the sort of product that's usually spruiked by a REP.

Reviews on Amazon look pretty good.

    3.6 isn't good!

    • +1

Agree, 3.6 is middling only - advertised as "air conditioner", completely misleading.

This quote in Amazon comments MAY explain confusing run time (again, if only runs an hour, misleading)

"Charge lasts about an hour, but if you plug it in directly to the USB charger, you can use it for longer"

Also middling if true (and I realise it is probably supplied but I didn't bother looking),

"It has a rechargeable battery (but unfortunately you need a special cable"

This thing has so many ifs and buts the deal is NO DEAL IMHO

Countless options available on aliexpress for half this price or even less.

    here is one example

“Reviews on Amazon look pretty good.”

A lot of them look… pretty average to me.

I noticed even Kmart had some rechargeable fans for $8. Larger blades. Don't know what the charge rate or run time was.

I want one that mounts on my belt and blows air up my back when working outside. Saw some on tv years ago that Japanese business men use were using as part of power saving program (not cooling their offices below 28C).

    • +4

You want Japanese men blowing on your back?

      • +1

Well not on the first date. 😀

    • (perhaps this) As links may not be supported; Google "Tajima Seiryo Jacket Cooling System", it is pretty exie tho (didn't check availability)

Cheaper, try on Amazon "waist fan" or "jacket cooling fan" as search terms

Note this is just a "where are they" post NOT a recommendation, have not experienced any of these items - thanks poster, never knew such things existed

  • fits in the pants ?

Keep your cool and stay one step ahead of the competition…

    lol

  • Interesting idea . I wonder if something like this would be good to have on a camping trip.

    • Better suited to a bogan glamping trip.
