Madame Spaghetti is opening up a new location in St. Kilda. These spaghetti ice cream places are popular in parts of Europe. Had one in Berlin last year and it was basically gelato put through a grater to look like spaghetti. Not actual spaghetti mixed with ice cream which is something that would be interesting to eat but given no one sells that, probably not that great.

Apparently it was a fizzy sherbet flavour with blue food colouring.
Could’ve been a massive letdown.

I grew up with "Spaghetti Eis" … every single icecream shop in Europe has this!
Hope they put the cream underneath the Spahetti to make it frozen … yum!

Thanks for the tip-off :) I'm not sure the spaghetti-like aspect adds much as it just melts back into a lump, but it was still delicious.

When I lived near Monza, I'd frequent a gelateria that had about 20 staple flavours like pistachio, bacio, blood orange, chocolate etc. And then 4-6 speciality flavours.
The most interesting ones I had were a mushroom risotto one and a Sugo Bolognese, both surprisingly tasty. Never tried the bright blue Viagra one lol. Apparently it was a fizzy sherbet flavour with blue food colouring.
