    Great receiver

I am rocking a V681 from Eastwood Hifi and absolutely love it.

    • Yeah I have this receiver and love it! Bought mine back in October to replace a failing RX-V673. Wasn’t sure about the Titanium finish to start with, but it fits in well with the rest of my setup.

  • geeshh.. I hate coming to these threads… have 3 Yamaha amps over the years….. do I really really need an Atmos one ??…. given that I have so many 4K / BDs, multiple BD and 4K players… maybe….

    • This is OzB. You don’t visit this site or view these posts with the express intent of not buying anything ;-)

    • The answer is yes.

    • Maybe ask people on Whirlpool.

  • This is the model I'm after and it's the current best price.
This helped me decide, keep in mind Yamaha are even better value in Aus as Denon are so marked up here.

    • Denon x1500 is the equivalent. Similar RRP and ~$700 deals usually so not much it it value wise.

      • The Denon AVR-X3500H is $1,7000 to $2,000 here.
        It's 550USD there equivalent to 800AUD!

          RRPs are US$999 & A$2099.

AU ‘tax‘ more or less the same between Yamaha and Denon.

  • Has been around $670 previously with the 20% off eBay sales at Selby

Good if you can get it for that - you should post it next time it appears at that price from Selby. Only other price I can see ever posted on OzB from Selby for this model was $730.15.

This price appears to be a whopping $0.15 more expensive than the cheapest ever posted on OzB.

i'm trying to save money… and you post a deal for a stereo without speakers for 700 bucks. i'd rather buy a registered vehicle… that comes with a stereo + speakers.
