After good quality stainless steel drinking bottles for kids. Need to be at least 400ml.
I saw the swell ones but they are quite expensive for something that is probably going to be lost - but if that is the only choice so be it?
Main thing with the stainless steel I'm aware you can get cheap ones from the supermarket and stuff like typo but the actual stainless steel used inside seems to be quite a low grade.
I have purchased Kleen Kanteen…but to be honest the Decor one from Woolworths when half price is superb value for not much difference in quality.
Decor have the big and medium double wall ones.
Single wall is the cheapest , double wall more expensive
Are you wanting the liquid to stay cold etc for 12 hours (double wall), or a few hours is fine (single wall)?
With painted bottles you will get many dings and scratches etc - perhaps consider brushed aluminium look.
If it will get lost, then go for a cheap one
The swell ones are of high quality (generally) - but if its for a kid with high chance of getting lost, then go cheaper for sure!
Kmart ones are okay if you lose them
why does it need to be stainless steel?
just get an old zinc/galvanised canteen in a canvas bag from an army surplus store if it has to be metal. (i know people were worried BPA vaccine leakage from plastic bottles and the associated spectrum disorders)
Anything, give it to your kid to play with when you check out. A free bottle is the best

Main thing I know about the stainless steel ones is the inside finish. Put my finger inside some generic ones and you can still feel the grit from the finishing process of the steel like if they can’t clean their product properly after manufacturing how good can it be?
