    Nope, its a Hosting Service, for running Websites, Games Server, Shoutcast, IRC, Proxy and other services that can utilize a CDN and Cloud infrastructure.

    Seeing as sarcasm cannot be conveyed through text.. I'm going to answer anyway.. It's a Virtual Private Server, several virtual machines on a dedicated server to host various things like forums, game servers, ventrilo servers, websites.

    Any Hosting service will require that you cancel you service prior to you leaving, since the payment term agreed to is month to month they can only merely continue to send you invoices, until you tell them you wish to cancel. As I said before its NOT a contract.

    1. This is not JUST a VPS, a Cloud platform is quite hard to get a trial.
    2. This is for those who wish to Try using a Cloud VPS/VPS in general or are new to such a platform, if its useless for you, might be a learning curve for others…

    This offer is for those who might benefit learning off it…, not for people who have a current provider and are looking for a bargin.

    I don't host with them either, as I've got a better long term deal going with a more apt provider in LA(costs a LOT more…).

  Basically, Host1Plus is now offering Xen-based virtual private server service, and happens to be using OnApp as the management platform (a rather expensive one, comparing to commonly used SolusVM). Cloud or not — it's hard to tell from the limited information provided. OnApp usually requires SAN so would probably be more robust than your typical standalone box Xen. But again, very limited information on their deployment details.
