  Is it true that battlefield 5 is borderline like hardline?

  I don't see much positive reviews just complaints on the concept and how they nerfed the game with current update.

  Be aware that the most recent patch of the game (5.2) has been immensely controversial, and driven away many people.

  They have increased the Time To Kill/Bullets To Kill with almost all weapons (as well as a lot more damage drop-off), meaning it takes longer to kill people, and most guns are nearly useless at anything over 15m. For example, the FG42 is a rapidfire, 20 round LMG, that takes 13 shots to kill past 15m. You can no longer kill multiple people without reloading - plus they now have plenty of time to turn around and kill you back.

  Feels like the skill gap has been heavily compressed for Christmas sales, trying to win a bunch of casual players to bolster the numbers. I'm aware this comes off somewhat elitist, but I'd rather people be aware of the state of the game.
