I was surfing dinodirect.com and came across a few nice looking mobile phones. However, this site has banned them because they were offering Ozbargain members incentives and other freebies for promoting them here. What do you guys think of this?

Dinodirect was continuously spamming our site and opening multiple accounts. When they realised they couldn't post deals anymore they started spamming our members offering incentives for posting/voting up deals. Thus, they are banned.
I tried them once on their bathroom shelf offer. When I placed my order, their system show the item was in stock. They even ran a promotion on the item the next day when I checked the website. However, a month later, I still hadn't received my item so I contact them and they told me the item wasn't in stock. I filed a paypal dispute to get my money back and never buy anything from them again.
Dinodirect is a scam website. Don't order anything from them.
Rather than start a new thread i will put up my recent experience with them.
I was in need of some plumbing supplies and thought i would take a risk and order a kitchen pull out mixer tap and shower set from Dinodirect. The total of these 2 was only $60. Express shipping was $75.

At the time the had a promo, spend over 80 and get a $60 voucher.
Products arrived in a matter of days and the quality looked excellent. Installed the kitchen mixer and it works well.
That was a few months ago now. Yesterday i figure i will use my $60 voucher. Worked out a heap of stuff and tried to use the order code and it gets rejected. At this point i am pretty pissed off as i am thinking i just wasted over an hour looking for stuff.
Today i click the online help button. Guys gets on chat straight away. After a few min he cancels my $60 coupon code and gives me a $60 giftcard. He then also gives me a $10 off code for the hassle.
The $10 off worked fine as did the gift card. Postage was free and i paid an extra $1 for my box to be custom made by some girl :) Apparently they will send me pics. I will post them when i get them.
At the end of the day i am pretty happy. All up over the 2 orders i have paid about $140 and i have:

Dinodirect is a scam website - google them.
Actually for the past 5 times that I bought from Dinodirect, had all been positive no problems so far.
But here are few cons
1) Their deliveries sometimes are slow, but had once that arrived in 1 week time
2) Their prices are not always the cheapest (I've bought a toy which turned out to be $12 more expensive, after discount)
3) Their quality varies, you sometimes can get a mix bag. Bought (30 pcs of kitchen ware, and 6 came with poor QA test)But other wise, I wouldn't label them as scam. Rather aggressive marketing! =)

That. They were banned not for scamming, but rather spamming. Otherwise they are quite competitive to other cheap Chinese gadget sites such as DX.
I think this is a bad comparison - after all, there are multiple reviews out there (just google dino direct) from unsatisfied customers who have been scammed. So they are spammers but also definitely scammers.

Yeah looks like they have bought the ad space from Google.
I thought their price is not very competitive than other sites such as dealextreme and pandawill.
Not sure about the other users of DinoDirect
but I am getting a lot of spam materials delivered to my mail box from them now!Got 3 catalogues for the Christmas bargain. The catch is that you have to pay for DHL shipping at $40 a bang! No free shipping.
How I see it, is that they drop the price but up the shipping!
Depends on the product. Shipping on the small stuff is free. When i bought the shower set and kitchen faucet i had to pay for shipping. I did get the products in about a week.
I think it was a good decision, they sell mostly crap imo and they were trying to sock puppet etc which is against the rules.
