just saw the breaking news that CASA allow tiger to fly anytime soon.

    Glad that they got rid of the stupid fee for counter check-in.
    (It's now free to check in at the counter)
    Also, it seems like they do not charge Credit Card surcharges.

    (Though it's extremely confusing as their information pages states otherwise)

      Don't think they have a choice since their web-check in has been removed. If it's the only mean of checking in, I would assume they would have many complaints if passengers need to pay for this.

        Not to mention the $40 for the obligatory 30 minute coach to and from Melbourne once you land…

    they are only flying syd to melb to syd!!!! No other routes adelaide base is being closed down all together!!! No more cheap flights :(

      They are only permitted by CASA to fly 18 flights a day (both ways inclusive, so essentially 9 flights).
      The melb-syd-melb route takes up 8 flight spaces, therefore only leaving 10. Pretty sure they will release new routes soon.

    Ummmm….I booked Perth/Sing return last week for $290 including all taxes, bags, booking fees etc

    Not cheap enough?
