How to Secure The Area under Pergola

I have heaps of unused space under Pergola which I want to use so I could free up garage.

What's the best possible and cheap way to secure it? Here is the picture.

Hoping someone who might have done similar thing can provide some advice here.

    Shipping containers.

Yeah. Chicken wire that area up and enclose 42 hens and a roosting cock.

Frame it up with treated pine, moisture barrier and put a mini door in. Clad it up with cement sheets and paint it over. Leave a few gaps for passive airflow.

    • ^ This. You could also use colorbond sheets instead of cement board. If you desire.

      • Colorbond against rendered concrete?

        You monster!

haha You could always go with something a bit more architectural like Klip Lok

  • We had this done at our previous house - google: deck skirting for different style ideas.

Wow. That area is huge, and you're in Sydney? Rent it out $$$

    • lol

    • If Sydney CBD, it might have sold for over $500k lol

  • Where on the house is it, front, side or back? Does it need to be weatherproof?

    1. Make it so people can’t see in, colorbond, villa board, timber slats
    2. Make it so it is harder to get in without a key. Wire mesh, as above.
    3. Don’t store anything very valuable down there.
    • It's rear of the house.

I want it to be weatherproof as I will be storing stuff there which is currently sitting in garage. Will need at least one side to have small door so I could get it.

Someone suggested cement sheet so that might be a way to go
