So I got 6 vodafone prepaid sims from the last Woolies Netflix & vodafone deal.
I just activated my first sim and transferred my number from Telstra. Will I have to do the transfer number again for my next sim even though it's from vodafone to vodafone? Or can I somehow use the other sims as a recharge option?
Wait, I have to transfer out to a non-vodafone provider first?!

People who SIM hop usually have dual SIM mobiles (or carry 2 mobiles). One permanent SIM for incoming, and one disposable SIM for data & outgoing. Come join the club.
Nah that's too much of a hassle.
I guess I'll just cough it up for a permanent sim.

Yes. You will have to transfer from Vodafone to a non-Vodafone provider, and then back to Vodafone if you want to keep the same mobile number.
No. But if you call Vodafone and beg and escalate the case to a managerial level, they might make an extremely rare exception and transfer the credit.
