Submitted the request - did you get any kind of confirmation once you filled in the web form?

    • +1

@dm1, I haven't received any confirmation either after filling the form &/or as email :)

      • +1

I guess we just wait and hope…

    • I used Guerilla Mail but didn't receive a confirmation. Let's pray it comes through!

I'm tempted to spam it with fake details but with the street address of the local non-profit animal shelter for delivery

Awfully kind of you, but I can’t see these sample bags being anything over 500g. That wouldn’t make a dent in the daily food requirement of an animal shelter.

    • +1

The typical sample bag is 50g, based on my experiece. Unless they only have the laziest and oldest pupper.

I read it as one sample, but with first and second preferences. Ordered anyway! Thanks

  • Just in time for crissy - thanks OP

    can birds eat this?

    • +1

If only they said what different pet foods were for…..

      • -4

and why name themselves black hawk. adds more to confusion hehe

genuine question though, i can chuck this at the park and birds will eat it?

        • True!

No idea if birds can eat it, I guess wild birds can eat dog food but the kibble on these is large unless you get the puppy ones. But is it good for birds? Probably depends on the bird. I'd avoid giving it to domestic birds just in case it has something they don't agree with.

As for wild birds maybe the puppy version?

          • +1

@Maverick-au: To be fair, if you throw it around your park, dogs will just find it and eat it anyway… 😂

Birds are pretty great at avoiding food they shouldn't eat. Part of being wild.

          • @Maverick-au: I was about to say why would you think it was healthy for birds when it's not healthy for dogs but then I noticed they do have grain free varieties. Doesn't mean it's healthy but presumably it's better than grain. I say presumably because grain is just a cheap filler and they may have just replaced it with another filler like cellulose (wood).

    • i'm sure a crow or ibis would quite happily scoff it down

  • Awesome, got some. Now I just need to get a dog. :)

Didn’t end up getting the last black hawk free sample I signed up to.

    • We got ours, dog had already eaten them all.

    • Didn’t get mine either.
