Could stack with Amex cashback if you have it, $10 off $100 spend.

    • Thanks. Added to the post

    • Like this deal, I'm also 10 years old and single.

FCL back from holidays? Still away on eBay.

    • Probably gone to Bali
You’d think Christmas would be a busy period for them and management would ban holidays.

      • I think it was just that they were hiding from the 20% promo code that eBay included them in. They were still around when the promo started but quickly set the store to "away" and then reappeared as soon as the promo finished (today).

Longmorn for $64.80 after cashback if you enjoyed this whisky from the previous deal. Not as cheap as the 6 for $250 but decent at this price. $100 at Dans

    https://www.firstchoiceliquor.com.au/spirits/longmorn-distil…

    • It's ok. I think there's better. I'm choosing to mix it, let's put it that way.

Longmorn is a beautiful drop to drink straight. Bought 6 off the Bozzlebud deal previously.

  • Oban distillers edition, Talisker distiller edition, auchentoshan the wood!

OP, you don't get cashback on the GST, so your example prices in the post are slightly low.

    Ooo Ardbeg really nice! Thanks!

  • Some good prices in there. Going to grab Ailsa Bay and Quinta Ruban.

  • Is the 20% cash back capped at $30, capped at $30 per transaction? Or capped at $30 per Shopvack account?

    • Per Shopback account

  • Any suggestions? my favourite is Ardbeg Corryvreckan but they don't have it in stock.

    • Hmmm tough one. The only other cask strength I can see there is the Uigeadail, also from Ardbeg. That will be a lot sweeter than the Corryvreckan though.

    • I haven't actually had the Corryvreckan, been on the lookout for a while.
But comparing to other Ardbeg I'd put forward the classic Lagavulin 16…. I got a bottle of this recently with the Amex cashback.

  • Plus 1000 Flybuys points on a $20 spend if you've activated the deal.

Worst bloody web site. Cart kept giving an error then finally get though to be told after putting in all my details that delivery is not available and no stock anywhere. Not going to bother with this.

Thanks OP - nipped down to my local store and got the (almost) last of the Glenfarclas 10 and Oban. Plenty of Aberlour, Dalwhinnie, Balvenie left. (Ingle Farm)

Cheers OP. Got the Ardbeg - have never tried it but the reviews are good.

    • I hope you like smoke.

      Ardbeg can be….. confronting
      to the un-initiated!

  • any suggestions for some single malts at a great discount that aren't peaty? person i'm buying for loves aberlour 12 and A'Bunadh (my mind blanks on the others they like but they are in a similar vein flavour wise). want to get them something different to try.

    • Balvenie 12 DoubleWood is very good, no peat at all.

Glenfiddich 12 for $47 after cashback is a steal but that is not something different to try as any scotch drinker would have drank this before.

Macallan Sherry Oak 12 years would be a very good buy. It is a little bit dear at $83.45 but it is as cheap as it going to get for this drink.

    • Don't know about great discount but aberlour is Speyside so if you want to gift something different you probably want to stick around that region.

I'll second a Balvenie but they're generally loved so easy to please haha.

For something a little outside speyside I always recommend Auchentoshan Three Wood. My go to peaty is the Bowmore 15 y.o. My "on the dearer side" go to is the Dalmore King Alexander III.

All in all it's really about individual palate and pairings. When I lived in London we often did whisky pairings….was pretty cool.

    • I'd recommend Nectar D Or Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL for the non-peat lover.

  • Perfect timing as was looking for Single Malt Scotch for a gift for someone. Stacked with amex offer too. Thanks OP!

Great deal. Am I missing something with the shop back though as the website says 12% not 20%

    • damn probably changed from yesterday

  • Perfect timing! Just ran out of Talisker
Combined the deal with shopback, AMEX Paypal deal and AMEX First Choice deal!
Will see what I actually get :D
